As the leaves turn and the air gets crisp, we’ve officially entered back-to-school season. This time of year is packed with fun – apple picking, pumpkin patches, family photos, and the excitement of holiday plans just around the corner. But with all these fun activities, there’s something else that comes along – sick season.
As travel nurses, you know better than anyone how quickly those sniffles, coughs, and chills can start spreading. While the weather shift is beautiful, it’s also a wake-up call that we need to stay on top of our health. Whether it’s the chilly mornings, changing temperatures, or the germs our little ones bring back from school, it’s easy to get caught off guard.
Here at Fidelity On Call, we want you to be prepared for whatever the season throws your way. So, we’re sending out a few reminders to help keep you strong and healthy during the coming months…
- Listen to your body: Don’t push too hard. Rest when you need it and keep your immune system in check.
- Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate: Water is your best friend, so drink up!
- Stay mindful of the little things: Wash your hands, stay active, and embrace self-care.
This season is filled with laughter, adventures, and memories waiting to be made, and we want to make sure you don’t miss a moment of it. So, take care of yourselves, stay strong, and let’s tackle this sick season together!
