Lifetime Achievement Award

Pat Drake Awarded Local NAWBO Lifetime Achievement Award

Pat Drake  advocates for women business owners through the National Association of Women Business Owners Central Illinois Chapter. She’s been a member since 1992 and has served as the Chapter’s President on two occasions.

On June 17, 2020, outgoing Chapter President Vickie Clark awarded Pat the Lifetime Achievement Award, who said,

“This award is given for a member’s continued support of NAWBO, a member who has spent 10 or more years involved in the success of the Chapter. This person lives and breathes NAWBO. She has held I believe every leadership position on our Board. She is outspoken, driven, strong…and yet has a heart of gold, a passion for helping others and for building diversity within our chapter. She understands how valuable NAWBO is and has a way of mentoring by example.

Pat Drake has received several awards from our group before, including Unsung Hero two times, Pioneer twice, and the Lifetime Achievement Award in 2008. Pat Drake is going off our Board this year, but I am comforted to know that doesn’t mean she won’t be involved. Pat is a relentless achiever and will continue to be involved by co-chairing Pathways.”
