The winner of our Take Me Out to the Ball Game Contest had a wonderful time in St. Louis! The grand prize included:
- 2 Tickets to the Cubs vs Cards game at Busch Stadium on September 28th in the UMB Champions Club
- Hotel stay for Friday and Saturday night at the Hilton at the Ballpark
- $500 for travel, food and any entertainment
It seems like fate that Cassie won this contest, as she likes both the Cubs and the Cardinals. In this weekend rivalry, the Cardinals were trying to clinch the NL Central.
On Friday, Cassie and her husband, Jimmy, checked in to the Hilton at the Ballpark. They had a perfect view of Busch Stadium from their room, so they got to watch the game there Friday night.
On Saturday, they went to the game in style with their seats in the UMB Champions Club. Cassie says waitresses were everywhere to get your drink order, or you could just go up to the bar and get it. She said they had top shelf everything! As we all know, beer and drinks at the game are super expensive – but here they were all free!
And then there was the food: A nacho bar, a hot dog and brat bar, a carving station, all sorts of meats, different types of salads, and so much more. Cassie says they kept going to the buffet and getting different plates of food.
The game atmosphere was incredible…the stadium was packed, the crowd was excited, and Cassie and Jimmy had the perfect seats! With the all-inclusive seats Cassie and Jimmy could take their food and drinks and sit at the tables to watch the game or sit in their chair and watch. It was nice to have options.
Cassie, who spends most days tending to the needs of others, spent this evening being catered to. She was constantly being asked things like, “Do you need something? Can I help you with that? What would you like?” She said that was a big change for sure.
With the $500 that came with the prize for travel and entertainment, Cassie and Jimmy were able to really make a weekend of it, enjoying all kinds of fun stops, including a brewery tour at Anheuser Busch. In fact, they had so much fun, that Cassie and Jimmy plan to make this an annual trip now!
Cassie won the contest, in part, by referring nurses to our agency. But this isn’t something she does just to win a contest.
“I absolutely love working at Fidelity On Call and have told all my friends to come to this company, because I love it so much. I know a few of them already have and they’ve already started their contracts, and they love it too. Fidelity On Call treats us really well. Kellie is wonderful; I can call her anytime with questions or whatever I need. She’s always there. I really, really like it.”
